About the team
We are the People team, and we look after all the wonderful people who work here at IMA. From acquisition, onboarding, talent management, rewards and employee experience through to wellbeing, ED&I, culture and internal communications.
Summary of the Senior People Advisor role
Acting as a strategic people partner and working collaboratively with your key stakeholders, you will be an expert in providing effective, consistent and first-class Employee Relations advice and guidance. You will be a pro-active member of the People Team, driving the up-skilling of our People managers, and partnering with the agency to maximise team performance and retention.
We are looking for someone who can provide support on talent matters to our global agency, and who has experience supporting with talent attraction, acquisition, retention and development.
Some responsibilities of the Senior People Advisor role will include
- Build relationships and work proactively with key stakeholders across the business to advise them on current legislation, identifying risks and offering solutions
- To proactively initiate meetings with all People Managers, on a quarterly basis, to understand their team dynamics, any trends and upcoming changes or concerns, to be able to advise from the outset
- Resolving challenging situations whilst driving what is right for the agency and ensuring compliance with all company procedures, policies, and employment legislation
- Act as facilitator with Managers with Employee Relations matters e.g. grievance, disciplinary, absence and capability investigations and hearings developing their leadership capabilities and skills around people management to mitigate any potential risk to the business
- Coach managers through learning and up-skilling sessions on both new and upcoming employment legislation and general people management to enable them to competently manage their teams
- Be a key People contact for our global offices and establish effective working relationships with appropriate contact points
- Provide support across Talent Acquisition & Development, including managing the applicant tracking system and screening candidates
