At IMA we have an experienced team of 3D Artists and Designers that specialise in creating stunning visuals and animations for advertising and marketing.

Over the years we have worked with a diverse range of clients including Adidas, Reebok, Redbull, Tesla, Hisense, Froneri, Cloud 9, Wren, and Howdens Kitchens.

We’re looking for a midweight 3D Artist to join our team in our Cape Town office to help out with our ever growing workload.

The role

As a Midweight 3D Artist, you will use your experience and knowledge to create 3D content (images and animations) to the highest standard across a wide variety of disciplines ranging from Retail Design, Architectural Visualisation, Interior Design, Lifestyle Photography, Product Marketing Imagery and Product Design.

What you’ll be doing

• Develop and maintain an in depth understanding of all clients and their requirements.

• Create the best quality images and animations using 3D Studio Max, Corona Renderer, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects.

• Support the overall team development to get the best possible results.

• Show professionalism at all times.

• Show strong initiative and the ability to problem solve.

• Supporting leadership in the development and guardianship of the IMA brand.

What we’re looking for  

• An excellent grounding in design principles and a deep understanding of retail design.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, digital 3D tools, and Google Workspace.

• A self-starter with a positive outlook who thrives as both an independent worker and a team player.
