Account Director FTC
IMA is a creative agency that builds brands people want to be part of. We’re looking for a visionary Account Director to join our IMA business unit on a fixed term basis. This role is designed for a strategic leader who can develop and sustain dynamic, mutually beneficial partnerships with global clients while driving growth and expansion.

The role
As an Account Director, you will strategically develop partnerships with global clients, specifically focusing on growth and expansion. Reporting to the Group Account Director, you will have direct management responsibility for specific members of a designated team, ensuring efficient resource allocation for all client deliverables. Your primary focus will be on directing overall account profitability, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving agency success through impactful leadership.
What you’ll be doing
You will act as an inspiring and strategic leader for global accounts to deliver best-in-class integrated campaigns.
You will establish senior-level relationships and navigate corporate structures to strengthen partnerships.
You will travel to Europe to maintain key relationships with clients and partners.
You will conduct regular client health checks to foster transparent relationships and monitor campaign ROI.
You will develop and execute account growth plans to identify new business opportunities and maximise agency influence.
You will play a key role in pitching and securing and cultivating new business to expand the agency portfolio.
You will produce compelling strategic proposals and presentations that drive client engagement.
What we’re looking for
You have demonstrable experience managing global accounts and navigating large client organisations.
You possess a proven track record of strategic account growth and new business acquisition.
You have sound agency experience including both digital and traditional marketing.
You demonstrate strong leadership and people management skills with a proactive hands-on attitude.
You have expertise in budget management and reporting and commercial analysis.
