People Coordinator

The Role
As People Coordinator, you will be embedded within the People team and act as a reliable point of contact for colleagues and managers. You will support the administration and delivery of core people processes, help maintain accurate people data, and contribute to the smooth running of onboarding, learning and engagement activities. This role requires a pragmatic, service-minded approach and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage new hire paperwork, welcome processes, induction schedules and leaver administration to ensure a consistent colleague experience.
Recruitment: Support the end to end administration of the recruitment cycle, including job postings, reporting and offers.
People Administration: Maintain HR systems and records, manage contract changes, absence tracking and other employee lifecycle updates with accuracy and confidentiality.
Employee Relations Support: Act as a first point of contact for routine queries, escalate issues appropriately and help coordinate meetings and documentation.
Learning & Engagement: Support logistics for training, team events and engagement initiatives, including scheduling, communications and feedback collection.
Reporting & Compliance: Prepare regular people metrics and ad-hoc reports, and assist with ensuring compliance with local employment regulations and company policies.
Continuous Improvement: Help identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and the colleague experience.
What We Are Looking For
The Essentials (Must-Haves):
Experience: Previous experience in a people, HR or administrative role, preferably within a fast-paced professional environment.
Organised: Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, manage competing demands and meet deadlines.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident liaising with colleagues at all levels.
Systems Skills: Comfortable using HRIS, ATS or similar systems, and proficient with Microsoft Office (or equivalent).
Discretion: Ability to handle confidential information sensitively and professionally.
Right to Work: The legal right to work in the UK, with flexibility to occasionally work outside standard hours if required.
The Desirables (Nice-to-Haves):
Certification or formal training in HR or people-related disciplines.
Experience supporting learning, engagement or performance processes in a creative or agency environment.
Exposure to payroll, benefits administration or HR reporting tools.
