Content Manager
IMA is a creative agency that builds brands people want to be part of. We are looking for an experienced and proactive Content Manager to join our Content team. You will lead content strategy and delivery across channels, ensuring our brand stories are compelling, consistent and performance-driven. This role requires a strategic thinker who is hands-on with content creation, editorial processes and cross-functional collaboration.
What You’ll Get From Us
Career Growth: Opportunities to develop your content and editorial career within an award-winning, people-first creative agency.
Recognition: A values-led culture where your contribution is recognised and supported.
Autonomy & Support: Ownership of content strategy and delivery with the backing of a collaborative creative team.
Real Impact: The chance to shape content that directly influences campaigns, retail activations and brand experiences.
The Role
As Content Manager, you will define and execute content strategies that support brand and commercial objectives across owned, earned and paid channels. You will lead content planning, production and optimisation—working closely with Creative, Strategy, Social, Paid Media and Client teams to ensure a consistent tone of voice and measurable outcomes.
You will be responsible for managing an editorial calendar, commissioning and producing high-quality copy, and implementing content governance and workflow best practice. The role combines strategic planning, hands-on writing and editing, and analysis of content performance to continuously improve engagement and conversion. Strong stakeholder management, creativity and an evidence-led approach are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Your daily focus will include:
Content Strategy: Develop and maintain content strategies and editorial plans that align with brand and campaign objectives.
Editorial Management: Produce, edit and proofread high-quality content for web, social, email, blogs, product pages and campaign assets; ensure clear, consistent tone of voice.
Content Production: Commission and manage freelancers and internal teams; oversee briefs, timelines and delivery to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Creative, Strategy, SEO and Paid teams to integrate content into wider campaign plans and ensure best practice across channels.
SEO & Performance: Apply SEO best practice and use data to optimise content for discoverability and engagement; monitor performance and iterate on content based on insights.
Governance & Standards: Own content style guides, approval workflows and asset management to maintain brand consistency and legal/compliance requirements.
Reporting: Track content KPIs, produce regular reports and provide actionable recommendations to improve content effectiveness.
Process Improvement: Continuously refine content processes, tools and templates to increase efficiency and quality.

SEO Knowledge: Solid understanding of SEO principles and experience applying them to content planning and optimisation.
Project Management: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders and deadlines.
Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience working across creative, strategy and client teams.
Digital Tools: Comfortable with CMS platforms, Google Suite, analytics tools and content collaboration tools.
